ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN is a wire-reinforced stone wool curtain for subdividing large roof voids and concealed cavities. Single-sided foil variants support vertical fire and smoke compartmentation below concrete soffits and within timber roof constructions.

Description
ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN – Single-Sided Flexible Fire Barrier is a reinforced high-density stone wool roll developed to inhibit the passage of fire and smoke through extensive hidden cavities where rigid boards are difficult to install.
Key features
- Flexible roll format for large roof voids and concealed cavities
- Suitable for approved concrete soffit and timber-truss applications
- Available with black foil facing on one or both sides depending on system design
- Fire resistance of up to 120 minutes, subject to the tested configuration
- Can be detailed with approved service penetrations and selected fire-resisting door sets
Typical applications
Use to continue compartment lines through roof voids, above partitions and around approved timber or concrete supporting constructions.
Installation note: Install with the specified ROCKWOOL angle supports, clamping plates, overlaps and penetration details. Do not substitute generic fixings.
