Orders Placed via Website

When you place an order through our website, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order along with the details of your purchase. Your order represents an offer to buy a product from Fire Protection Direct Limited.

This offer is accepted when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched (the “Dispatch Confirmation Email”). The contract between you and Fire Protection Direct Limited is formed at the time the dispatch confirmation email is sent.

Any items included in the same order that are not confirmed in the dispatch email do not form part of that contract. If any products become unavailable while your order is being processed, we will notify you by telephone or email as soon as possible.

Delivery

Fire Protection Direct Limited will make every reasonable effort to deliver goods as agreed with the customer. While delivery dates are provided as accurately as possible, they cannot be guaranteed.

Our aim is to dispatch and deliver all UK orders placed via the website within 7 working days where possible. However, we cannot accept responsibility for delays, failed deliveries or associated costs that may occur.

Orders cannot be cancelled or claimed for damages solely due to delays in delivery.

If delivery is made to a home or business address specified by you, it is understood that any individual at that address has your authority to accept the goods and assist with unloading where required. Once goods have been delivered and signed for at the requested address, responsibility for the goods transfers to the recipient.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return a product for any reason, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Customers are responsible for arranging the return of goods.

Provided the product meets our return conditions, a full refund for the goods will be issued. Business customers may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Returned products must be unused, complete, suitable for resale and in the same condition in which they were received. If packaging has been opened for inspection, this must be done without damaging or marking the product in any way. All original packaging and accessories must be included.

Items manufactured or supplied to a specific technical specification provided by our team are not eligible for return. In addition, once a Certificate of Supply has been issued for an order, the items within that order cannot be returned.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery or courier charges.

Products remain the responsibility of the customer until they have been received by Fire Protection Direct Limited. Refunds will be issued once goods have been inspected and confirmed to be unused and undamaged. Delivery costs and any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund.

Goods returned in unsatisfactory condition may be subject to additional charges, up to the full invoice value.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Customers must inspect their delivery upon receipt. If any goods are incorrect, missing or damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Written confirmation must also be provided within 7 working days from the delivery or collection date.

Once confirmed, faulty or incorrect goods may be returned for either replacement or a full refund. If notification is not received within the specified timeframes, the goods will be deemed to have been delivered correctly and in good condition.

Faulty products must be returned and inspected before a replacement or refund can be issued.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, all goods supplied by Fire Protection Direct Limited are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, abuse or failure to exercise reasonable care, including accidental damage caused by the user.

Limitation of Liability

Fire Protection Direct Limited makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information published on our website. However, we do not provide warranties or guarantees regarding the completeness, reliability or accuracy of the information provided.

We do not guarantee that the website will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be free from errors, viruses or technical faults.

Nothing within these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer or your legal rights to cancel a contract.

Fire Protection Direct Limited will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, profits, contracts, business opportunities, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation arising from the use of our services or products.

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence by Fire Protection Direct Limited, its employees or authorised representatives.

Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

We operate a policy of continual review and reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
