PFC Corofil CLGB Linear Gap Seal Block
PFC Corofil CLGB Linear Gap Seal Blocks are pre-cut stone wool units for closing trapezoidal voids in composite profiled decks above flexible or rigid walls and selected protected steel beams. Blocks are made to match the deck profile.
Description
PFC Corofil CLGB Linear Gap Seal Block fills the shaped trough at the head of a compartment wall, removing the concealed route that would otherwise remain between the wall and profiled deck.
Key features
- Pre-cut to match the large or small trough of a composite deck profile
- Suitable for approved flexible-wall, rigid-wall and protected steel-beam details
- Profiles up to 210mm can be accommodated in specified arrangements
- Provides up to 120 minutes of integrity and insulation, subject to configuration
- Available as individual blocks or calculated linear-metre quantities
Typical applications
Use at the head of walls beneath trapezoidal composite decks and above specified gypsum-encased steel beams.
Installation note: Provide the deck manufacturer/profile reference, required fire rating, block depth and quantity. Install flush or centrally as required by the PFC Corofil detail.
