Description
ROCKWOOL FirePro CB50 Ablative Coated Batt – 1200 x 600 x 50mm is a high-density stone wool board with a factory-applied ablative coating, developed to reinstate fire compartmentation around building services and larger apertures.
Key features
- 1200 x 600 x 50mm coated batt format
- Suitable for approved flexible walls, rigid walls, rigid floors and face-fixed applications
- Can be used for multi-service penetrations, blank seals and selected head-of-wall details
- Classified for fire resistance periods of up to EI 120, subject to the application
- Stone wool core also supports acoustic and smoke-sealing performance within the complete system
Typical applications
Cut and fit around approved cables, trays, metallic pipes and combustible services, using the specified ROCKWOOL closing device and sealant for each penetration.
Installation note: Reseal cut edges and perimeter joints with the specified FirePro product and retain the installation evidence for the completed system.
