Tenmat FF102/50 is a rigid foil-wrapped intumescent strip for horizontally closing open-state cavities up to 50mm wide. The 1m-long barrier allows normal facade ventilation and drainage, then expands to close the cavity in a fire.

Description
Tenmat FF102/50 Open-State Ventilated Cavity Barrier – 1m uses a low-smoke, zero-halogen high-expansion intumescent material in a compact strip format, minimising obstruction to airflow in normal conditions.

Typical applications
Use horizontally behind approved rainscreen, cladding and external weatherboard systems where the facade design requires open-state ventilation.
Installation note: Maintain the specified free air gap and use the correct brackets or fixings at the stated centres. Do not compress or cover the exposed intumescent edge.
