Description

Protecta FR Putty Pads are flexible, non-setting fire and acoustic seals for electrical switches and socket boxes installed in fire-rated gypsum walls. They help reinstate the performance lost when the lining is cut to receive an electrical box.

Easy to shape by hand around electrical boxes and cable entries
Suitable for internal or external fitting where covered by the tested detail
Helps restrict the passage of flame, smoke and air through the wall cavity

Fire performance

The pads can reinstate fire resistance for up to two hours, depending on the wall construction, box arrangement and approved installation detail.
