FIREFLY® FB180 Ablative Batt 50mm is a 1200 x 600mm high-density mineral-fibre board coated on both faces. It is designed to complement FIREFLY® flexible barriers in restricted or complex areas and can provide up to 60 minutes of integrity and 30 minutes of insulation in tested systems.

Description
FIREFLY® FB180 Ablative Batt 50mm is a high-density mineral-fibre firestop board with an ablative coating applied to both faces. It is designed to work alongside FIREFLY® flexible barriers, particularly where restricted access, irregular structure or multiple services make a flexible-only detail impractical.

System use
Cut the batt to fit the opening and combine it with compatible FIREFLY® flexible barriers, sealants, coatings and fixings as shown in the current system drawing.
Installation note: Reseal all cut edges and minor damage with FIREFLY® Ablative Coating or the specified sealant.
