FIREFLY® FR Graphite is a water-based, high-expansion intumescent sealant for combustible pipes, cables, cable trays and insulated metal pipes. Supplied in 310ml cartridges, it expands by up to 700% and can provide up to four hours of fire resistance in applicable tested penetration seals.

Description
FIREFLY® FR Graphite High-Expansion Sealant is a pressure-forming intumescent sealant for service penetrations where combustible materials may soften or burn away during a fire. Its graphite formulation expands to close the developing void and help maintain the fire resistance of the wall or floor.

Typical applications
Use where combustible services pass through fire-rated walls, floors or FB180 batt seals and the approved design requires a high-expansion graphite seal.
Installation note: Confirm the backing material, seal depth, annular gap and service type against the latest FIREFLY® test evidence.
